Regnum Online:
This game is an MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) made by NGD Studios. It is a great game, with good graphics and it's even free. Regnum Online consists of three realms: Syrtis, Alsius, and Ignis. Each realm has three distinct races that a player can choose from. All players must choose a class before they start playing. The three classes are; mage, warrior and archer. At level ten, the player can then choose a subclass. Mages can become Warlocks or Conjurers. Warriors will become either a Barbarian or a Knight. Archers will choose between a Marksman, or a Hunter. Each subclass has its advantages and disadvantages, but if a player can adapt to his/her character, they will be an incredible fighter.
Characters can be customized by hair color, hair style, eye color, eyebrow, size, gender, race (depending on Realm). More customizable areas are racial.
As you level, you will gain access to higher level equipment. Some have bonuses that allow the player to have more defense, a higher attribute, or more powerful attacks. This often brings up the whole 'Better Items Makes Characters Over-Powered' debate. But there is still some form of skill in setting up powers and fighting.
Premium can be bought in the form of Ximerin. An amount of Ximerin can buy you a mount, change the appearance or name of character, get larger stashes, teleport scrolls, leveling scrolls, and even item boxes that can give special items.

The Six Sub-Classes:
Warriors can become ruthless Barbarians or chivalrous Knights.
-Barbarians are a class that are hard-hitting, allowing those whose style of play is more to inflict pain, to have fun. PvP with a barbarian is pretty difficult, and is often based on luck, or knocking them constantly. When they get into range, there's no stopping them. In RvR, barbarians have a few warcries to aid their allies. These are mostly power or damage bonuses to everyone within range. However, the areas of a barbarian can be deadly to an entire army, if timed correctly.
-Knights can be skilled to either dish out some damage or tank their way through an enemy army. With the new update, a Knight can now help out his/her allies by providing auras to increase their allies defenses. Higher level knights can be incredibly annoying to kill. I'd recommend becoming a knight if you want to be annoying, or just to have shiny armor.
Archers can become cunning Hunters or accurate Marksman.
-Hunters in the recent update are somewhat disappointed to what their chosen class has become. Instead of the old-fashioned hit-and-run tactics of the hunter, it has now become a more tactical asset to their allies. Becoming invisible and taking out enemies one-by-one or hiding 5 allies to attempt a sneak attack can change the outcome of a battle. Hunters are the stealth class, if you like to be sneaky sneaky, this is the class for you.
-Marksman are the heavy-hitters from a distance. If you like to play it safe, and still do some damage, this is a great class to pick. Multiple marksman in one area can pin down an enemy army for awhile, until reinforcements arrive to push them all the way back.
Mages can become deadly Warlocks or helpful Conjurers.
-Warlocks are incredibly dangerous when it comes to fighting at medium (25-30m) range. Powerful spells, knocks, dizzies, freezes, immobilizes all are found in this class. Leveling a warlock may take some time, as it is a powerful class, but when you get to a high level, it'll be worth it.
-Conjurers are perhaps the best class around. They heal and supply allies with mana, and can resurrect dead players. Certain spells are a must for these healers, as they can change the tide of a battle. Conjurers do not do much damage, because they are the only healing class of Regnum. But having one on your side can make a huge difference. They are always welcome to the fight by allies. And because they can change a battle's outcome, they are targetted frequently by enemies. If you're a helper, this is a class to consider.

My Experience:
Personally, I have played almost all the subclasses and all the realms. But, I prefer Alsius the most. I don't really know why, they just kind of grew on me. The snow and the mountains are an incredible sight. With all the fighting between the realms going on outside of a Great Wall surrounding each of the three realms, what's a new player to do besides grind (killing monsters for experience)? Well, my friends and I figured it out. Role-play. After all, this game was a role-playing game, wasn't it? This site will give information about all the realms, but it will also tell of the fun my friends and I had role-playing in this great game.
